Chris Caldwell is a professor of mathematics at the University of Tennessee at Martin. He has long been interested in primes. He earned his B.S. in Mathematics at California State University, East Bay in 1979 (the same time Landon Curt Noll and Laura A. Nickel were there and finding M25 and M26). He received his Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley, where Dr. Lehmer taught.
