Josh Findley is an American independent IT consultant. He is credited with discovery of the 41st known Mersenne prime 224,036,583-1.
At the time of discovery, he was working as a consultant to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in La Jolla, California. He resided in Issaquah, Washington.
Findley joined GIMPS in June 1999.
