Talk:RPS Drive 11
Revision as of 08:25, 17 June 2024 by Karbon (talk | contribs) (Karbon moved page Category talk:RPS Drive 11 to Talk:RPS Drive 11 without leaving a redirect: Moved from Cat:Drive 11 talk)
Why?
Why do you created a category for a completed drive? Karbon (talk) 17:29, 16 June 2024 (UTC)
- I created new categories for RPS drives 8, 9, 10, & 11. I did this because RPS drives 7 & 12 as well as RPS megabit drives 1, 2, & 3 already had categories and I was maintaining that consistency. All of those except megabit drive 1 are already completed. So it appeared that the categories for drives 8, 9, 10 & 11 were missing hence why I created them.
- See this page: Category:Riesel Prime Search
- It now contains all RPS drives that we have created. The only drive still incomplete is megabit drive 1. If this page is wrong, please clean up all of the drive pages and delete any incorrect categories so that they appear correctly on here. I will then understand it better for future reference. Gary Barnes (talk) 21:58, 16 June 2024 (UTC)
- A category for a drive is only needed when the drive is not completed. The Riesel/Proth-template will create a link to the drive category if a MultiReservation is set. So all k-value pages for this MR can be found in this category and could be used to create a DPL-table. If the drive is over no k-value page will appear in this category only the drive page itself. Therefore the category of this one page is changed to the project page. The category is not needed anymore. I will redo those changes and move this to the drive 11 talk page.
