27121 Search was a Distributed computing project that started on 2005-03-01 to search for primes of the form 27•2n-1. The project partnered with PrimeGrid on 2009-02-13 to additionally search for primes of the form 27•2n+1 and 121•2n±1.
The 27121 site featured a reservation system that made it easy to use PRPnet to reserve tests directly from the PrimeGrid server. PRPnet used LLR or PFGW for testing and reported results back to PrimeGrid.
Results
27121 Search found 5 top-5000 primes as reported to The Prime Pages by itself before partnering with PrimeGrid. Their largest prime was 27•21253870-1, which was found on 2008-06-29 and weighed in at 377,454 digits.
