Dates

  • All dates shall be in year-month-day order and be all-numeric (YYYY[-MM-DD]), as in ISO 8601.
  • CE/BCE shall be used in preference to AD/BC for years in the classical period.

Times

  • All times shall be based on a 24-hour clock (HH:MM[:SS]).
  • There is no consensus yet as to a standard time zone for this Wiki.

Special cases

Importing dates from the PrimePages

Several dates in the PrimePages prior to about 1996 are placeholders, where only part of the date (and none of the time) is actually known.
